Cool US Flag Facts

The Ohio State flag is the only US Flag that is not in the shape of a rectangle.

The Flag of New York State is flanked on the left by Lady Liberty and on the right by Lady Justice.

The Texas Flag is known as the "Lone Star Flag" as it contains one 5 point star on a tri-color background.

The big bad bear on the California Flag is a California grizzly bear - which is now extinct.

The Mississippi State Flag is the only flag in the US that incoporates the Confederate battle flag. The emblem is in the upper left-hand corner.
